Hi! I'm Shai and I'm a nocturnal introvert. I found a love in baking around 2012. It was a way to escape my troubles and worries. Shai’s Bakery was created when I discovered my hidden passion and joy of baking just shy of 2013. It was something I was good at, so I worked hard to perfect it (and I'm still working hard to keep it perfected). I’ve always loved Chocolate Chip cookies (Chip’s Ahoy were my favorite!) but never have I tasted the perfect chocolate chip cookie. So I took the recipe off the back of a Nestle chips bag, added a dash of this and that and baked my own batch. 

My family and friends were blown away. I couldn’t believe it at first. I thought “These are really good but selling these to the public? They’re not all even the same size!” It took me months to finally realize my cookies are different. They’re soft, they stay fresh, they aren’t overly sweet and they aren’t messy. They’re delightful and they bring out the child in you. Taking you back to the days you would go over to grandma’s and on the counter is a plate of fresh baked cookies. That’s how Shai’s cookies make you feel, and they keep that fresh baked taste for up to an entire week!
